DOC wines

“Dolia” is the historical line of bottled wines, which also marked our Winery’s most important change towards quality. It includes our most typically produced wines and allows aficionados to get closer to the taste and aromas of the Dolianova-labelled wines.

Dolia Nuragus

Nuragus di Cagliari DOC

Colour: light straw-coloured with greenish tinges.
Nose: fresh and nicely fruity.
Taste: delicate and elegant, with a pleasant acid expression.
Grapes: Nuragus.
Serving temperature: 10-12 °c.
Food matches: shellfish, fine fish, starters and first courses without strong seasoning.

Dolia Vermentino

Vermentino di Sardegna DOC

Colour: light straw-coloured with a light greenish glint.
Nose: flowery, intense, fresh and fruity.
Taste: intense, lingering and acid with a light and characteristic bitter note at the end.
Grapes: Vermentino.
Serving temperature: 10-12 °c.
Food matches: seafood starters, grilled and stewed fish dishes.

Dolia Monica

Monica di Sardegna DOC

Colour: intense ruby red with purple tinges towards garnet coming with ageing.
Nose: intense, persistent, ethereal and vinous, with sensors of raspberry and cherry.
Taste: warm, rightly tannic, lingering with a delicate grass sensor.
Grapes: Monica.
Serving temperature: 18-20 °c.
Food matches: dry pasta, risottos, lean meat and medium matured cheeses

Dolia Cannonau

Cannonanu di Sardegna DOC

Colour: intense ruby red with orange tinges coming with ageing.
Nose: intense, persistent, ethereal and vinous, with sensors of fruits of the forest.
Taste: warm, enveloping, with a good body and properly tannic.
Grapes: Cannonau.
Serving temperature: 18-20°c.
Food matches: ideal for roasts, game and cheeses with a strong and spicy flavour.
